What does "90% down, 10% feathers" mean?
The filling consists of 90% fine Class I down and 10% finest feathers. This ratio provides an especially light yet warming sleeping experience.
Which warmth level should I choose?
The all-season version is suitable for balanced warmth throughout the year. The winter version has a higher fill weight and is made for especially cold nights. Personal perception of warmth can vary – smaller, more petite individuals often require one to two warmth levels more than larger, sturdier individuals.
How do I care for the blanket?
The duvet can be machine-washed at up to 60°C on a delicate cycle using a mild detergent. As with any down duvet, however, we recommend washing it only as often as absolutely necessary—the down filling is largely self-cleaning thanks to its natural properties. Regular airing and shaking keeps the duvet fresh and fluffy, and is at the same time the gentlest way to care for the filling.
How is the down obtained?
The filling is certified according to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) and Downpass. Both standards exclude live-plucking and force-feeding and guarantee an independently audited, responsible origin.
Is the blanket suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes, down fillings are generally suitable for people with dust mite allergies. They are only unsuitable for the extremely rare cases of an allergy to down and feathers themselves. If you want extra peace of mind or react strongly to dust mites, you can combine the duvet with a mite-proof cover.
